It’s all here to help you feel confident, informed, and supported every step of the way.

Tuition + Registration

We offer monthly tuition plans designed to support consistent, high-quality training and make dance accessible year-round. Tuition is billed monthly. We aim to keep our pricing simple, transparent, and fair — with no surprise costs.

An annual registration fee is due at the time of enrollment to reserve your dancer’s spot and help cover administrative and onboarding costs. This fee ensures access to our full range of studio resources and helps us deliver a seamless experience for every family.

Have questions about what’s included or how tuition is calculated? We’re always happy to help you find the best fit for your dancer’s schedule and goals

  • To secure your spot for the season, we require a $50 non-refundable registration fee per family. This annual fee helps cover administrative costs and ensures a smooth start to your dancer’s experience at Thrive.

  • We offer consistent monthly tuition rates based on your dancer’s age group or class level. Tuition is billed monthly September through May and already accounts for planned studio closures and breaks — no surprise changes or hidden fees.

Annual Recital

Our annual recital weekend is the heart of our dance season — a joyful, high-energy celebration of everything our dancers have learned, created, and become throughout the year. Think of it as our Super Bowl, where every dancer shines, every family cheers, and our community comes together to celebrate growth, artistry, and connection.

Recital weekend typically takes place in late May or early June and includes a dress rehearsal and live performances at a professional theater. It’s a chance for dancers of all ages and levels to perform on stage, build confidence, and experience the thrill of sharing their hard work with a live audience.

  • here are two non-refundable fees associated with recital participation:

    • Recital Fee (per family)

    • Costume Fees (based on the number of classes your dancer is enrolled in)

  • We’ve recently been notified of some upcoming cost increases for recital-related expenses — including costumes, venue rentals, and production costs. While we’re still working to understand the full scope, please know this:

We are committed to keeping recital a joyful, meaningful, and accessible experience for every Thrive family.

Our team is actively exploring options to maintain the value you’ve come to expect while minimizing the impact on your wallet. We’ll share updated pricing and flexible payment plans by the time classes begin in August so you’ll have plenty of time to plan ahead.

Thank you for trusting us — we can’t wait to celebrate another unforgettable season of dance with you! 💛

  • We want every dancer to experience the magic of recital — and we know that planning ahead helps make it possible.

That’s why we offer flexible payment plans for all recital-related costs, including your family recital fee and costume fees. You’ll have the option to either pay in full or spread the cost out over 7 monthly payments — whatever works best for your family.

We’re committed to keeping recital an accessible, joyful experience for everyone. If you need additional support or have questions about your payment plan options, just reach out — we’re here to help!

Thrive Policies + Waivers

Dress Code

  • Proper attire helps dancers feel confident, safe, and ready to grow. Each class has specific requirements for shoes and dancewear.

👉 Click here to view our full dress code.

  • Our dress code supports our commitment to providing high-quality dance training in a focused, respectful, and professional environment. Proper attire helps instructors give clear corrections, prevents injury, and promotes discipline and unity among dancers.

Weather + Emergencies

  • In the case of inclement weather, power outages, or other emergencies, we will communicate any studio closures via email, text, our website, and social media. We do not always follow JCPS closings, so please check Thrive communications directly.

  • Your dancer’s safety comes first. Our policy helps us respond quickly and responsibly to unpredictable situations — while keeping families in the loop.

Media Release

  • To help celebrate our dancers and share the joy of Thrive with our community, we occasionally post class photos and performance clips on our website and social media. We never tag dancers in posts. When you register, you’ll be promoted to sign our media release to agree to allow Thrive to use images or video of your dancer for promotional purposes.

If you prefer not to have your dancer included, click here to learn how to opt-out on your parent portal.

  • We love highlighting the hard work and spirit of our dancers — and sharing their growth inspires others. But we also respect your preferences and always honor opt-out requests.

Tech-Free Studio Policy

  • Thrive is a tech-free zone inside the studios. Dancers must store phones, smartwatches, and devices in designated lockers during class. We believe in cultivating presence, focus, and real connection — and our tech-free policy helps us do just that.

  • We want Thrive to be a place of presence, connection, and creativity — free from distractions. A tech-free policy supports focus, community, and mental well-being. If you’ve heard of or read The Anxious Generation, a lot of the research presented is a part of our reasoning.

Dropping Classes

  • Because we bill monthly, your commitment is just one month at a time. If you need to withdraw from a class, simply email or text us before the 1st of the month to avoid being charged for the upcoming month.

Please note: We do not offer refunds or pro-rated tuition for mid-month withdrawals.

  • Our monthly model is designed to give families flexibility while allowing us to manage staffing and class sizes responsibly. Advance notice ensures we can plan accordingly.

Missed Class Policy

  • If your dancer misses a class due to illness or an unplanned studio closure, they’re welcome to attend a make-up class at a similar level. Please contact us to find the best fit.

Note: We do not offer make-ups for planned studio closures (like fall break or spring break). These closures are already factored into your monthly tuition.

  • We understand that life happens! Our make-up policy is designed to be flexible without compromising class structure — and planned closures are built into our tuition model to keep things consistent.

Liability Waiver

  • All families must agree to our liability waiver when registering. This waiver acknowledges the physical nature of dance, grants permission for emergency care, and releases Thrive from liability related to participation.

👉 Click here to view full waiver language.

  • Dance is a physical activity, and while safety is our priority, we want to ensure all families understand the risks and give us permission to act in case of an emergency.
